JOINING THE CHOIR
Who can join?
We welcome new members in any section of the choir (soprano, alto, tenor, bass).
If you would like to sing with us, our only requirements are that you can sing in tune, attend regularly and are prepared to put in some practice between rehearsals. We do not hold auditions.
We would suggest that you come along and sit in on a rehearsal. After a few rehearsals you can decide whether or not you would like to join us.
When do you rehearse?
Rehearsals are from 7:30 to 9:30pm on Mondays in term time, with extra rehearsals on the afternoon before a concert.
Most rehearsals are at Our Lady's Convent School (see directions).
What does it cost?
Members are asked to donate to the choir £35 each for the autumn and spring terms (concessions £30) and £10 for the summer term.
If you borrow music from us, then we ask for a £10 deposit which will be refunded in full when the music is returned.
